<p>Have you taken any AP exams, and if so, how did you do on them? Personally, when I see someone with a solid ACT/SAT1 and excellent grades who has so-so SATIIs and 3 or lower on APs I think that perhaps their HS had grade inflation and didn’t prepare them terribly well. If they have good APs in the same subjects, then I think that the class didn’t fully cover the material covered on the SATII and the teacher didn’t bother to offer some after school work for those planning to take the SATII or the kid didn’t bother to prep at all. But I’m not on the admissions committee, and I have no idea what they think. This probably falls into the “this one thing will not keep you out but what else do you bring to the table” category.
