My UC transferable GPA is over the average (3.72 and art history) but my major GPA does not look well at this point. There were 4 courses and I got 3 A's and 1 B, which landed me to have 3.75 major GPA. At this point, I am mostly just freaking out! So does anyone know how much major GPA matter to UCLA and Cal?

Major GPA is really important; that’s how they know if you are capable of doing well in classes pertaining to your actual major.

I have 8 classes from art history department. 7 completed and 1 IP. The B was in African art which is part of my non-western art requirement. All the rest were finished with A’s. I’m just worried that they might not look passed one B out of 7 classes.
