How much does the name of undergrad b-school matter?

I'm a transfer from California Community College and I've only been accepted into one university that is not that prestigious by any measure (SJSU), however, I managed to finish all 2 years of schooling in one year and because of that, I only had the chance to report 21 completed units, since I got another 39 over the course of Fall 2013 and Spring 2014. I'm considering staying behind at Community College another year in an attempt to get into a better school (Cal Poly, possibly UC Berkeley)

So the question is, is it worth it to spend another year to get into a "better" undergrad b-school, or should I just get the ball rolling and maybe pursue a masters degree.

If it matters, I'll have a 3.8 at the end of Spring 2014 assuming all goes well, and I'll have 60 units total. Also, I plan on doing a conc. in MIS.

Since you already have 60 credits at the CC, I don’t see where an additional year is really useful. If you choose the path of opting for the better school, you might be better off just working that year and saving some money. But if I were you, I would call the admissions offices at Col Poly and UCB and ask them for some guidance.
