Got a letter in the mail 2 weeks after acceptance to IU. Received invitation for SSA right away, but hasn’t officially heard about direct admit to SOIC

Thanks, got the Hutton invite yesterday, but nothing about any type of scholarship info yet, so was wondering about the timeframe.

My daughter applied mid August. She was accepted in mid September, SSA came up right away on her onestart application. We just heard about the OOS scholarship last week (received something in the mail) and Kelley direct admit yesterday (via email). Her SSA is still waiting on one recommendation but other than that, she’s set! Finally, now she can relax while all of her other friends are just starting to stress on their college applications. Hutton invite came in between her acceptance and the OOS award letter, maybe a week or so after she was admitted.

Got the official Kelley direct admit letter and finally the scholarship letter on Friday- got Deans scholarship of $11,000/yr. OOS. Now to push DS to complete the SSA and see if anymore comes our way. DS would love to attend IU- hoping we can make it work.

Surprised to get anything b/c of low GPA. Just $2k/year as an OOS so not exactly making IU a lot more affordable.
