Since I plan on applying to Iowa someday, I was wondering how much money they give to stuents who are instate? Also, how much would it cost annually to attend Iowa instate? How many scholarships do they give out, and how hard is it to find and get these scholarships? My parents say that I may not be able to get much fiancial aid, so is there anything else to lower the amount of money needed other than loans? I know I may have to go into loans anyway if I go to Iowa, but if I were to go to Iowa with 10,000 dollars from a job, how hard would it be to go to Iowa with little to no loans?

Being instate can definitely help with aid. Do you know why exactly your parents predict that you will not get any aid? If you have a high efc you still might qualify for work study and scholarships.
