How much will it hurt

Hey next year I will be a senior, and as i started looking at colleges, a thorn in my neck is my screw up soph year. Freshman year i goofed around...just because i didn't take highschool academics as seriously as i should have (but still got all A's and 2B's). But then i had to move from wisconsin to washingtonDC which completely screwed me over.

Sophmore year really was my lowpoint of my hs career, and i think moving had a big part to do with it. Even though i worked my ass off junior year to make up for it...and managed to get my gpa from a 3.4 to a 3.7...would colleges even consider the moving excuse for soph year?

Someone told me I should show an upward trend, and show i could continue rising success through college, and thats what i tried to do.

Also...i got a 2 on the friggin APbio in soph year...a class which i regret taking as 90% of kids at my school got below a 4 :(. How much will this hurt as well (assuming i get 2050-2100 on the SATs and really nice ECs)?

It's impossible to help you with the information you supply. will you get into an ivy? No. Can you get into average state U? Probably.

it wont hurt that much. My freshman year I had a 3.2 and made up for it sophmore eyar when I had a 3.8. Pulled my gpa to a 3.56 unweighted. Anyways point said, I have a good chance getting into a top 50 college and if I do, you do. You have a chance with those scores and gpa getting into a top 25 school. Good luck.
