If I do get all A's, will colleges forgive me for my junior year mishap?

Many colleges won’t see your Sr year grades till after they decide on admissions status. You may be able to explain it in some of you essays but first you should explain it to yourself. PS: your a very good student so I would not let one semester define you or limit your interests in anything you want to do… 99.9% of people would trade GPA’s with you in a minute.

Have your guidance counselor or college counselor write a wonderful recommendation (as well as the teachers you have certainly impressed with your stellar grades), and perhaps have the counselor comment on your workload, extenuating circumstances leading to the slight decline in grades, however your overall GPA and test scores remain stellar, so you should not experience a problem competing for admission to the schools on your list. Be sure to send your first quarter senior grades expediditiously to your colleges, along with another guidance counselor supporting letter with all of the A’s you strive to achieve! You should be a fine candidate! Go for it!

It’s not going to help, but I think the most important things are your final averages in those classes. As long as you don’t have any Cs or B-s in those, you should be okay. Just make sure the rest is ok.
