<p>It seems like people at my school go home fairly often on weekends, so I was just curious about what other people did.</p>
<p>I go home as soon as classes are over for the day.</p>
<p>It depends, really. Usually every other week, but that’ll probably go down as the year goes on.</p>
<p>Most people at my school go home for the weekends, even the ones that stay in dorms.</p>

<p>When they force us to by kicking us out of the dorms. Also if I don’t get off for the Jewish holy days, I go home for those.</p>

<p>my roomate is sooo lucky- she gets to drive home every weekend.</p>
<p>I go home for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Halloween. Otherwise, maybe once or twice a semester for a few hours for a doctors appointment or something. I live 20 minutes away.</p>
<p>Once or twice a semester depending if I feel like driving 6 hours and/or missing work during breaks… I’m still debating if I want to go home for fall break which is in about 10 days…</p>
<p>I went home this weekend for the first time since coming to school (so, about a month). I may go back home in two weeks, since my family is coming up that Friday night to see my jazz concert. Other than that, I plan on probably once every 4-6 weeks (if for no reason other than for free laundry and a larger bed! haha).</p>
<p>^ lol, free laundry and a better bed are definitely good reasons to go home! I’ve been going home about every other weekend, sometimes more often if something’s going on at home. Quite frankly there’s nothing to do in my small college town so I don’t really do myself any favors by staying at school, lol. But I’ll definitely stay if friends are wanting to get together and do something.</p>
<p>Once or twice a semester…really only for holidays. I live an 8 hour drive away, and it’s expensive to fly.</p>
<p>Most people here leave on the weekends if they can. But I’m also an RA, so I can’t just leave every weekend.</p>
<p>I live 2 hours away, via public transport as well, so I can go home at any time really. In the month or so that I’ve been here though I’ve gone home once, and wow it felt wierd.</p>
<p>It used to be every other weekend. But now I’m generally liking school (geez, it took two years) so I come home once a month now. I live only 1-hour by car.</p>
<p>Yeah, I come home for the free laundry as well (and the good home-cooked meals) :D</p>
<p>Every weekend more or less. I work two jobs at home. </p>
<p>Kinda nice because I get to see my fiance, dog, and do free laundry. </p>
<p>But quite a pain in the butt in almost every other fashion. The making ~$200 a weekend though makes up for it.</p>
<p>Oh! I forgot to add my dog! I miss him when I go back to school :(</p>
<p>During breaks, if there is a good show and they are skipping CLE. Or if something big is going on in PGH. My friends from PGH typically visit me though, so no real reason to go back. I drive back if I need a break from academia.</p>
<p>every 2-3 weeks :D, dorm food gets old real fast. and having your own bathroom and room is awesome :)</p>
<p>I haven’t been home yet and it’s been two months. My parents came to see me this weekend because I couldn’t make it home and needed my winter wardrobe, so they brought it to me.</p>
<p>I’m home right now, just for a night. I live about an hour and a half away. I think I’ll probably come home maybe once or twice a semester. It’s just good to get out of the college bubble and have a home-cooked meal. :)</p>
