I will probably have to read some books by Lacan, Zizek, Agamben, and maybe Levinas for camp.

But then I have policy debate camp in dartmouth for a month which seriously cuts back on the time I could spend reading. I read every day for about 2 hours unless I have a lacrosse game. I just finished the Gunslinger series by Stephen King which was really good but way too long. I would have to say my favorite book/series would have to be the Dune series by Frank HErbert. Greatest epic of our time.

I am an obsessive, scary, reading NUT. I read nearly five hundred books a year. My house only has about 1500 books in it though; I do a TON of checking out at the library (there's no limit to how many books I can get) and lots and lots of reading in bookstores, especially if it's a series and I just don't have the cash.

My parents are forever begging me to get rid of some of the load, and sometimes I do, but very rarely.

As for books I recommend...my reading tastes are eclectic, so we'll just run down a short list. (I read both fiction and nonfiction)

A Love Divine
Women of the Bible
Atlas Shrugged
The Samurai Girl series
Unicorn Sonata
The Scarlet Pimpernel
Phantom
Women Who Run With Wolves (non fiction)
Everyday Zen
The Art of War
Model: The Ugly Side of Beautiful Women
Pride and Prejudice
The Chosen
Bless the Child
Alexander the Great
The Life of Xenophan
Singing to the Goddess

There are so many more...but I should probably stop now.
