Okay yeah so I would stick with…

Fall '11
Math 3A
Bio 1A
- whatever else you said for IGETC

Spring '12
Math 3B
Chem 1B
- remaining IGETC requirements

That’d be enough to apply to UCD. I still think you should also take Bio 1B in the Spring to increase your chances at Davis and so you’d be able to apply to UCI and SB. Ochem isn’t going to help you because then you still wouldn’t have Bio 1B, so you still shouldn’t waste time applying to LA/Cal/SD this year.

There are appeals but I don’t really see what grounds you have for filing one.

I would take Bio1B as well, but there are schedule conflicts with Chem classes.
As for UCI/UCSB… I dont think I will apply to those, because, imo it would kinda defeat me getting out of UCSC…

Still for la/ca/sd… is it really 100% not possible they will take me?
Anyways, in the end ill be glad to be accepted into UCD if I do.

As for appeals… well… never hurts to try tehehe

UCI has an amazing biology department, but okay. You will not be admitted to LA/Cal/SD for Biology without completing minimum pre-reqs required. End of story.

ok thanks for helping.!
i will actually look into UCI

I would apply for another major if you want to transfer Fall 2012.

If you want bio, then I would wait and apply for Fall 2013.

Even if you apply for bio this year, it is unlikely you will get in because you haven’t finished any pre-reqs. The one and only pre-req you have taken is G-chem 1 and you did bad in and had to retake it. The rest of the pre-reqs to be completed will be in progress which looks bad.

Other applicants will look much better with more pre-reqs done and the grades they got in them.

Another note:
If you plan to go for Fall 2013 instead, remember unit caps since you have taken some classes at UCSC.

@above poster.
ty for replying
I would consider another major, but I already have everything set up for a biology major
the only other major I can think, that will fit is sociology and im really not too interested in that.

As for unit caps… how would that work? Once i reach about 80 or 90 units, I just stop taking classes and wait? I think ill have too many units till 2013…

@iTransfer

The OP only took 3 classes at UCSC so they should be fine. Plus it was on the quarter system. For UCD, their application will just be reviewed by the dean if they have more than 80. They also will be under the limits for LA/Cal/SD since that is where they want to apply.
