I have a 3.17 unweighted and 3.69 weighted gpa which i know is not good at all but i have a 1920 SAT. Do you think I’ll get into the good schools like UMD and Penn State and UPitt?

I think you could have a chance! I have a 3.05 and 3.21 weighted/ unweighted and I’m going for Penn state! Don’t be afraid to go for it. The acceptance rate to UMD is like 70% I think and Penn state is 55-56% so you could possibly get in.
That depends on your major, how great your essays are, ACT/SAT results, extracurriculars, and type of school you attend. Lots of factors influence your getting into a college/university. Your GPA is decent and you do have a chance, if you play the rest of your cards right.
Not University Park (GPA is 2/3 of the decision), but maybe a branch? Google the colleges’ Common Data Set, section C, and see what kinds of GPAs they accept.
