How should I study SAT?

I am currently studying SAT with few SAT prep books, such as Barron's, blue book, princeton review, etc.

However, I get board after a couple of hours of study.
How should I approach studying SAT, so that I can raise, esp., verbal score?
I already got 750 on math, so I wouldn't worry too much on math.

check my post history "how I went from 1860 to 2320" for a detailed plan I posted that I used

If you're getting bored, don't spend as much time in one sitting. Take breaks and do shorter sessions, then gradually work up to where you can keep your attention span going longer. The SAT is boring as hell, so that's no surprise you're losing focus. We all do!

Went from a 192(PSAT) to a 2250.
Got the huge McGraw/Hill and Princeton Review and big blue book. Took a test a day. 30 tests in total? (I don't quite remember). After all that, sat and took test :)

Took alot of discipline to get self to work a four hour monster a day.

if u wanna improve attention span ... well then do what i do.
Its not fun ... but it works.

Every "other" weeekend (unless ur short on time) sit down in the morning and take 2 practice tests, back to back. See how you do. Do this every other weekend, and by the 3rd-5th weekend, you should be able to do both SAT's without getting bored.

By mastering an 8 hour stretch, the 4 hour stretch seems like a joke. No lie.

i really want to know if you think that loss of time was worth it.
