How to approach studying for the Subject Tests? Especially Biology and Literature?

I plan on taking the Biology E/M exam and the Literature one. I'll probably take the tests in October, but I'd still like to start gathering my study plan and review books because I will be extremely busy for the next few months. I'm aiming for a 750+. So for those who have gone through the process, how did you approach the tests? What review books did you use? What kind of study plans would you recommend? Thanks!

The SAT Subject Test book by the College Board is pretty good and has a lot of information about each test. The only downside to it is it contains practice tests for ALL the subject tests - so if you know that you won’t be looking at or taking half of them, I would just recommend sitting at a bookstore instead of buying it. I’ve personally never used the Barron’s book, but it supposedly helped my friend out a lot.

The Bio SAT is supposed to be one of the easiest subject tests offered and has a really generous curve (you can still get 3 or 4 questions wrong to score an 800), so as long as you did fairly well in class, you should be fine! Good luck!

Thanks! Anyone else?

I got a 750 through Barrons and solving a ton of practice questions. I looked over the Barrons around 3 times and searched up on the internet for information that I thought the review book didn’t include too much information of (such as the Kreb cycle). Plus, I made myself a little note where I could easily see the terms I couldn’t memorize. Also, used that note to write down the hardest questions and the reasons why I got those wrong.
