at leadership camp, a couple weeks ago, I met 2 really pretty brunettes on a friday. They asked me to go on the science museum/imax activity with them on saturday (weekends at camp are reserved for activities that students sign up for). So I went, and through the whole experience, they keep saying that half asians and half caucasians make up really hot guys..and Im just sittin there like yeah, ok, where do u come up with all the random shi t. And they did that for like the whole day we were at the museum. So to me, it seems that they are completly uninterested because they just keep talking about hot asian mixed caucasians..and they keep telling me that. Well, at the end of the day...surprisingly they give me their numbers and ask me what continent are my parents from... so I said Asia and Asia....and then they asked me if Im mixed.... a ha..I said no and they were really surprised and embarassed. I finally got it...they thought I was half asian half caucasian... I got really angry because white chics think that there is just no such thing as hot asian-asian guy....that day was a horrible experience.

Dude, I get that a lot too (Vietnamese). That's why I've become pretty cynical towards most girls.

Like my friend says:
85% of girls out there aren't worth the emotional investment and should just be used as accessories. Blonde for the summer, burnette for the winter.

At least they think you are hot. You must have some caucasian attributes on your face or something.

yeah that's disconcerting, taekwondo. but be happy: they kept blabbing about how hot mixed asians are because they thought you were one, and they were just trying to butter you up because they liked you. the sad part is that they assumed from your features that you were half-asian, but you can't blame them for that really. who knows? they might not have been like "oh he's hot, he can't be full asian." they might have just have found you hot but also assumed you were half-white just by looking at you.

just found this forum, and i think i am really late to post anything, well i have a problem myself,i met this gurl and ive taking her out i think just about once. but we usually have dinner at the school caff. i really like this gurl but am having a hard time figuring out if she feels the same way. for example anytime i make plans to take her out she always comes up with some excuss that usually doesnt make sense or she acts as thou she forgot totally about it. but when i see her at dinner in the school caf and i walk her back to her room she always just keeps holding me me puting her hands into my pockets and holding me closer to herself. sometimes she ignores my calls or txt. so i really dont knw where i stand.

Well maybe they just preferred mixed facial types. It’s their preference, who cares? They think you are hot, it’s better than thinking you are ugly or something. ROFL.
And I gotta admit, usually mixed people are pretty darn hot… or least around where I lived (there were tons of them) even if their parents both looked like… yeah. I don’t know where their wonderful genes came from but it happens.
Of course there are just totally hot asian/asian guys… I won’t start naming celebs or something because there’s too many. hahaha.

Hmm, not sure if I’m alone on this one… but talking to girls sometimes feels like one big interrogation… especially if you’re trying to build rapport, is there any way to get around it if they just don’t reciprocate your feelings/are disinterested? Or do you just chalk it up as a loss and move on?

^in general, if the girl is disinterested, u can’t force her into being interested. most likely, she isn’t the girl for u, & u have to move on. there are exceptions, but those are rare ;)

p.s. note to all guys out there:if the girl seems to be ignoring u, then guess what? SHE’S NOT INTERESTED. there’s no point in thinking that she may regain interest, so move the hell on. we only do the ignoring thing, because we feel bad & don’t want to hurt your feelings.
