How to Avoid Getting Rescinded

Hello,

I’m a senior in high school and I just committed to Cal Poly SLO. I have a 4.55 GPA and a 1380 SAT (new), and up until this year I have never gotten a grade other than an A. But now, there is a chance I could get an F. I’m in a community college calculus class in which I see almost no way of me passing at this point due to my previous grades. I am in no way letting senioritus take a hold of me. I have a tutor and do all the work assigned.

I was wondering if anyone knew if I have any chance of not getting rescinded, and if so, how to accomplish this (keeping in mind that it is almost May).

Anything helps, thank you!

Any way to drop the class? Is it a required pre-req?
If you cannot drop the class, I would contact admissions and see if you can retake the class during the summer to keep your admission.

The same thing happened to me! I had to send my transcripts and email the admissions office about it, but they emailed me back a couple weeks later saying I’m still being offered admission. My college class wasn’t required, though. Hope this helps!
