<p>Only really had one meeting with my adviser so far. Haven't seen him for enrollment into my spring courses, don't even know if it's necessary. He seems like a nice guy, but is not a professor in my major. I've found someone who I'd like to be my adviser and got his permission to list him as an academic adviser but have no idea how to go around doing that. Help?</p>
<p>Are you in CAS? If so, when you officially apply to your major, it will ask if you have an advisor preference.</p>
