My eligibility index is 3920 @sdsupride and I applied for communications

@sdsupride This is late, but I hope you applied anyway. I see a lot of misconception here. SDSU out of state tuition is like $35 grand. Second, I got into the school with around a 3.3-3.4 CSU GPA and got into the accounting major. I was also OOS (out of state) in Illinois. I had every reason NOT to get in. I also had a 25 on the ACT. People who applied to this school with much better GPAs & ACT scores with like 4.0s and 30 or higher ended up getting waitlisted, some even rejected. I am not saying don’t look at other schools; please do. I made the same mistake last year. Make sure you have tons of backup schools that you like & can afford. But, it’s not impossible. I’m a SDSU freshman now. I never thought I’d get in. They’re different from a lot of schools when it comes to admission; they want a diverse group of people coming in academically. I know people who got into the school with worse ACT scores. With this school especially, things are unpredictable.
Edit: Oh you did get in! Congrats!!! I hope you enjoy it just as much as I do now

@yingyang1998 Thank you. Yes, I got accepted and I am definetly attending. Cost isn’t an issue thankfully. I have already paid the $400 intent to enroll deposit lol
