I’m going to be moving next year to a new high school as a transfer senior student. I’ve done really well this year and have surely impressed my teachers by standing out of the class. Wanted to know if there was a way my teachers can write me a letter of recommendation even though I’m at a new school. I don’t want to depend on my senior year teachers to write me the letter.
Shoot your old teachers an email? Go visit your old school and ask them yourself?
Agree, ask teachers from old school, now. Have GC at new school explain your move, though it should be obvious. Good luck!
@blueguy99 @Lindagaf I’ll definitely shoot them an email, but wanted to make sure if there is any rule that doesn’t allow you to ask teachers from a previous school?
Not that I know of. I’m sure a lot of kids have done this
There’s no prohibition from using past teachers from prior schools. You’re fine
@blueguy99 @T26E4 Alright then I will ask them for a rec letter. Thank you all for your help!
