By thinking “what’s done is done, I’m going to try to do better later in life and realize that college GPA is much more important than high school GPA, and that I can succeed in life even if I go to a state or community college”.
More generally, for people who made a mistake not related to grades, by thinking “What’s done is done. One mistake doesn’t define me as a person, and I’m going to learn from this mistake and be a better person because of it, and not make it again.”

Of course, emotions don’t always (or usually) listen to logic and it’s not that easy to get over a mistake. But at least being logical and understanding the emotions can help ease the emotional pain somewhat.

Just go to community college for a couple years and transfer to a good school after. Simple as that. Oh, and you actually have to learn stuff now.
