The title says it all. How am I able to get a hold of these to send to all of my colleges? Can I do this through IDOC?
When do I get my link and stuff to use IDOC?
Do all colleges accept IDOC as a means of getting them the W-2's and Tax returns?
Thanks!!!

How to send my noncustodial parent's tax returns/w-2's to colleges? And other IDOC related questions

Some schools participate in IDOC and some do not.

Ask the NCP to provide the necessary forms to the school. The NCP Profile is not shared with the custodial parent. It is very possible, the NCP won’t want to share the w2 forms either.

You will get instructions about IDOC a little later in the process for,the schools, that participate.

How would the NCP go about sending this information to the school? Is the IDOC how the custodial parent sends their W2’s and Tax returns to each school? If the school does not use IDOC, but still wants w-2’s and tax returns, how would I got about sending them to them? When do I find out who uses IDOC?
Thanks!

Look on your school financial aid websites. If the school uses IDOC, you will see the deadline for that on the list of required financial aid submissions.

Re: how do you get the W2 forms to the school? Have your non-custodial parent make a copy of the forms, and put them in the mail to the financial aid office. They should include a cover letter…as well as putting Name of Stident: Suzy Q and Birthdate on each form.

Alternately, why don’t you call each college and ask them. They will tell you exactly what to do.

I honestly didn’t think of that haha. Will do. Do you think they’d be available over winter break?
Thanks again for the help
