Anyone have advice for preparing for the SAT II Lit test? I already know you need a strong CR and reading foundation... anything else as far as materials or anything else besides this?

I bought the book at the bookstore. Do practice tests!!!

I took the released one in the massive official College Board book.
I got 49 correct, 12 wrong, and earned a scaled score of 700. This was the first time I’ve ever taken it and I felt like I didn’t fully get the gist of what the test was looking for until I finished the whole thing in 40 minutes and went back through my answers and changed a lot of them. Is this an alright score if I’m aiming for 750+ or should I just trash doing this test altogether? If I continue with taking it, what prep materials are good? Should I get private tutoring?

Rebumps 10char

That’s really good. A 700 as a diagnostic is pretty cool.

The diagnostics skew low, so that’s good. A lot of the practice books cover a lot of literary terms, but there usually aren’t many/any hard ones on the test.

Your mom skews low. BOOM, ROASTED.

Lol jk, thanks.
