How to use Direct Hits Vocabulary to the full extent?

<p>Ok, I guess I wasn't really clear on the last post, but whatever, basically, I just got the word list (till 400) for the Direct Hits Vocabulary and I was wondering to people who have already studied this or are in the process, how do I use this the best I can? I don't have the stories, will that affect me? Should I make flash cards out of these? Should I study different vocabulary after I study these? Any tips, suggestions, answers are welcome. Thanks in advance guys!</p>

<p>Personally, I felt that the stories didn’t really make that much of a difference. The list itself is what is important. After knowing all of these words, you should be good to go.</p>
