<p>I'm hoping some students or parents can tell me how warm the dorms are in winter. I'm trying to figure out what kind of comforter to by my son. It will be down, but I don't know if I should go with medium or extra warmth.</p>

<p>In the Quadrangle dorms, you can make it pretty much as warm/hot as you like. I don’t recall having a heating issue in Barton hall, either.</p>
<p>The dorms are warm. I would not suggest a down comforter as they can be hard to wash.</p>
<p>Thanks, but Too late now -I bought the down. But he uses one even now in the warm summer weather so hopefully it will be OK.</p>
