**Bruins, Baybeeeee! **

Davis
UCLA
UCSB
UCI
UCSD
UCSC
UCB
UCM

@Cali Trumpet I TOTALLY AGREE!! I go to Davis a lot since my boyfriend lives there (and just got accepted to UCD too!!!) and people seem very laid back, friendly, and fun. Davis is truly one of a kind with its college town atmosphere, Picnic Day and Aggie Pack (spirit group that has around 12,000 students!!! WOW!!!) It’s the only UC I can see myself going to, and it just suits my personality so well…

@hanucol

That’s really cool. I go to Davis a lot as well (my girlfriend goes there). I was also accepted and plan to attend. :)

Are you and your boyfriend staying together? Are you/you guys going to live on campus or off campus?

you’re lucky to go there. I am actually going to Sac State because of financial issues my family is having and because the graphic design program there is actually better and suits my goals and career plans. I do wish I could go to Davis though because it’s just so awesome. I’ll be a Hornet, but I am forever an Aggie girl at heart!! If I was planning to attend Davis I would more than likely live in Cuarto. My boyfriend will still stay at home and just bike to the campus…he also applied to UCSB and Cal (but still pending for both), but is seriously considering Davis out of the 3…

My order of preference including everything that could be considered (e.g. academics, social life, etc.)

UCLA
UCD
Berkeley
UCSB
UCSD
UCI
UCR
UCSC
UCM

UC Berkeley
UCLA
UCD
UCSD
UCSB
(don’t care about the rest)

do you guys know whats fun for <21 students to do at SD in their free time? i know at Cal, LA, SB have great parties; but i’ve never heard of anything more than ‘hitting PB after you turn 21’ for SD? what else is there to do?

Overall Prestige/Academics:

  1. UCB
  2. UCLA
  3. UCSD
  4. UCD
  5. UCI
  6. UCSB
  7. UCSC
  8. UCR
  9. UCM
Although, 4/5/6 are kind of a toss up.

Personal Preference:

  1. UCLA
  2. UCSD
  3. UCI
  4. UCB
  5. UCD
  6. UCSC
  7. UCSB
  8. UCR
  9. UCM

What’s so bad about UCM besides its lack of a rep? Are the students mean or something? Gang problems? I’m not really sure why it’s at the bottom of everyone’s list

UC Merced is for UC Santa Cruz rejects.

i really dont think anything is wrong with UCM, i mean its practically brand new. It has nice buildings, its close to yosemite, has small classes, etc, etc.

It smells like cows.

UCM is still really new and has a good amount of potential. I understand people wanting to go somewhere with a good, established reputation, but I don’t think UCM is bad at all…

i agree with michellaneous

Order of Preference:

  1. UCLA
  2. Berkeley
  3. UCSD/UCI
  4. UCSB
  5. UCD
