How's the weather @ UCLA? Should I bring a comforter?

So I know it's pretty hot in SoCal compared to NorCal where I'm currently living.
but I seen some students brought comforters to their dorms
If it's pretty hot, would u suggest getting a light blanket?
or is bringing a comforter an appropriate choice?

I've never lived in LA so...how's the weather year round...

Thank you

the weather is awesome year round but it gets cold sometimes during the nights...

I brought a blanket and a comforter, and through the entire year, I always slept with both layers. But then again, I'm those types that need to be extra comfy when sleeping. If space is not a problem, bring both.

most you will need is one blanket. it IS usually very cold at night, but that's outside. Inside the rooms it is comfortable

if you live in a hall, think twice about it (no A/C). if you like to be warm at night, it's great. if not, you'll end up kicking it off your bed onto your roommate below =P

plazas have A/C, so when i was in de neve last year my comforter was a great thing to have. especially considering my bed was right below the vent, and my roomie liked to keep the room freezing cold!

haha the AC is your worst enemy when you sleep on the top bed and don't want to climb down to turn it off, also hopefully you won't get a roommate that leaves his alarm set after he leaves for the weekend... that bugged me so much... also he have like 5 alarms ringing between 7am to 9am while his class is at 10... hated those alarms...

If you're from NorCal you'll have no trouble at all dealing with the LA weather.

Right now it's summer so its hot as hell... 100 degrees.

In winter, a single blanket is enough.

i love oregon, no heat waves :D :D :D

i think i would have had a more enjoyable sleeping life if i had a comforter. i only had a single blanket and found myself cold for some nights :/. upgrading next year!
