HPU Honors program

<p>Hello- We visited (briefly) HPU last week with our D, a junior in high school. She absolutely loves the campus, and we are doing some research to see if it would be a good fit for her.</p>

<p>I have a question about the Honors program. Our D meets the qualifications for HPU's Honors program. Will she automatically be offered admission into the program when she submits her general application, or is there a separate application process?</p>

<p>How many students are in the Honors program? How active is the Honors social club? What types of activities to they do? Are the honors classes significantly more challenging than "regular" classes?</p>

<p>My D will be attending this fall in the Honors Program, according to my info your student will be invited if she qualifies with a GPA of 3.45 or above and SAT of 1250 or ACT of 28. We were told top 10 percent of the school is in the program. It sounds like the Odyssey club has several monthly activities like movie night, cafe night etc. Read through some of the other threads and you will find more info on the program. Good luck!</p>
