<p>Hi, I’m Emily
State: New York
School Type: A public rural school, so not many areas to really advance in which is the negative part of living a rural village.
ECs: Softball, Quiz Team, National Junior Honor Society-Secretary, National Honor Society, Student Council, Band, Jazz Band, Community Band, All-County and NYSSMA. Next year hopeful able to become class officer, join environmental club, and Area All-State.
Dream job: To become a Biology professor at a local college or an Epidemiologist.
Schools I like: I’m not really into those Ivy League schools so I’m thinking about Boston College, SUNY Albany and maybe University of Rochester or Norwich University. I’m interested at colleges that offer Air Force ROTC programs.
Rank: Our school doesn’t let you know until Senior year, but I am either 1-4 I don’t know which one though.
Intended Major: Biology and taking many courses in French and German languages.</p>

  • Model United Nations, Youth in Government, Politics Club, WorldQuest, Chess Club, Academic Bowl, History Bowl, History Bee, Association of Computer Machinery, Yearbook, Key Club, ASHE(American Society of Highway Engineers) Club, USABO and Brain Bee this year,TEAMS Engineering, Stock Market Club, and a bunch of other fun and volunteering club
  • History Bowl and Academic Bowl teams are ranked pretty high on the national level
  • 1st place in the state and high placement at nationals in one of the most prestigious individual competitions(would give away my identity)

<p>My school has a Red/Grey day schedule kind of thing.</p>

<p>Most science courses offered are double periods on one of the days, and then a single period (the other period is filled by seminar freshman year and gym all other years) on the other color day.</p>

<p>So, this year, I had double bio on grey days, and seminar before a single bio period on red days.</p>

<p>Hey Beth, I’m Dominique! I’m a French speaking Haitian! I am currently residing in Florida, The sunshine state! And will most likely be attending The University of Florida(The best school in my state).I’m also a rising Sophomore of course=)</p>

<p>And I’ve been really prepping for that Valedictorian label if you know what I mean! I plan to take almost EVERY AP class that I can and Dual Enroll mostly all of my Junior and Senior year to get my prerequisites for a Pharmacist out of the way! </p>

<p>I’m a little ahead of the game, this August(The beginning of my Sophomore year) I will be taking AP Eng. Lang, Trigonometry Hon., Chem… Hon., AP World His., AP Psychology, Anatomy and Physiology Hon., French 2 and Nutrition and Wellness as my Elective! ( I just got it for the food!). </p>

<p>War and Peace is an intellectual book because you have to adapt to different perspectives while reading. You have to adapt to the thinking of the different people and how it would benefit them and not the others. It is a very great read for people such as yourself who would want an interesting book. It is not so much of a challenging book as it is a long book.</p>
