I <3 Penn

dayum, she diverged the topic from Penn....back to Penn...

Even though chances are slim that I get in, forcing me to look at other schools now, I really do love Penn and would be absolutely ecstatic to go there. Now here's something I've been wondering about:

If you don't get in (again, i don't mean to jinx anyone! just trying to be realistic), would you consider transferring to Penn sophomore year?

collegecountdown - thanks for the info on Bryn Mawr. I haven't looked into it as much as i have Mt Holyoke, so Mt Holyoke is a little higher on my list than BM is. yea, i'd love to find a guy in college (lol, who wouldn't??) but really, considering the school's i'm applying to, MHC is the one i have most chance of getting into (aside from my safety) my thinking: if i can't have the language center at Penn, i'll get the equestrian center at MHC lol. about Bryn Mawr though - do you know about the campus? is it nice? i've never been, so i really don't know lol

chi, hahahhahaha. they think we're crazy no matter wat.

BMC's campus is gorgeous. It was designed by the same people who built Princeton's Oxbridge-style buildings and looks like a miniature, more lesbian-filled Princeton.

My lil' sister goes there as does my significant other.

oo, that's cool. you go to Penn? and ur gf goes to BMC? that's awesome lol. i'm guessing then that she's taking advantage of the consortium thing between Penn and BMC - how's she liking both schools??

chibiajiajin - Bryn Mawr is in a ritzy main line Philadelphia area, and has a really nice campus - very Gothic. I drive by there all the time. Didn't mean to suggest there is no social life - kids do socialize down at Haverford, Penn, Swarthmore and Drexel on the weekends. It's just that during the week, that is not as much the case.

yeah, thats cool

btw: could someone do one of those phonetic spellings of Bryn Mawr for me?

Brin Mar <--- that's the best i can come up with >.<

i'm going to Bryn Mawr

every friday night

if i get in

(which i won't) ;)

i go to an all girls high school (its actually right across the street from bryn mawr)...and i must say, all girls schools aren't that bad...but i was at a bryn mawr party with my bf who goes to haverford, and the party (which was supposed to be the BIG party of the year) turned out to be like a middle school dance...like a few girls dancing in the center of the room and a few couples making out...and some guys and girls standing awkwardly around. from then on, i vowed to never go to bryn mawr. but i heard wellesley is a little more social cuz u can go hang out at MIT...

26e - haha, thanx, come visit me once you get into penn!! ;)

back to another question i posted earlier:

yeah....but I like my backups, so i doubt i would

my number one backup as of now is mt holyoke ^_^

She likes it. And so does she.
