I took my first ACT in december and wasnt really thinking when i registered i guess. so i had them send my scores to UIUC, i just chose that school because i might want to apply their next year (im a junior).

so it was a pretty bad score, and i kind of would prefer that they didn't see it/consider it for when i apply next year. should i just call down there and tell them to disregard it? im sure im not the first person to do this (i hope). just hoping my chances at that school wont be screwed.

this hasnt happened to anyone else? i really must be a dummy

uofi will reject u fosho now

If you just send better ones they will only regard those in your admission.

I sent all 4 of my scores to DePaul (21, 22, 24, 29) and they still awarded me the dean’s scholarship, admission into the honors college and admission into the honors accounting program. I also earned admission into the honors colleges of Loyola (Chicago), U of Arizona, and NAU, while also being offered scholarships from ASU, U of Arizona, and NAU. In other words, having the school see your bad scores shouldn’t affect you, as long as you can raise your score.

Edit: Just to clarify, I wasn’t offered scholarships or admission into the honors colleges until they received my February ACT score (29).
