Oooooh god.
Alright, here are the two reasons why my entire high school situation is a joke in every aspect and no colleges will want me:

Reason 1 - I royally *ed up my freshman year, and did very well in *ing up my sophomore year. I won't make excuses or go into details about why things ended up happening the way they did, but will just say that 9th grade yielded 2 credits (World History - 70, and Computer Applications) and during sophomore year I earned 5 (Health [1/2 credit] - 71, PE [1/2 credit] - 80, Lit/Comp 10 ACP - 93, Biology ACP - 75, Algebra 1A - 70, and German 1 - 84).
Reason 2 - My school itself. Clarke Central High School in Athens, GA. Look up some statistics if you can, I've never tried for the fear of having my eyes burnt out. I know I've heard we're one of the bottom 25 schools in the entire nation, and Clarke County is - and I'm being serious here - one of the TOP FIVE POOREST counties in the NATION, probably because of UGA owning so much land that it doesn't pay taxes on, and cause most of our population is students at UGA. Our school has next to no money. We're 70% African American, 15% Hispanic, and 15% Caucasian. When it comes to school, I'd bet 85% of us DGARA (look it up). Most of the people I used to be friends with didn't. You know that writing test all of you Juniors just took? Georgia's most written about dream occupation was construction. Our attendance rates are so bad that the Georgia Superintendent is trying - in vain - to get students to come to class by enforcing a policy in which you lose credit for any class that you miss more than 8 days of, excused by a doctor or not. You're allowed to appeal for your credit if your absences were excused, and you might get it back. If they're not excused by a doctor, you're screwed. The Superintendent's son Josh Holloway was a senior at my school last year before he went to a small college in Arizona... that he then proceeded to drop out of after a month. Josh works for clarke county now; he cuts our school's grass. No kidding. Come on... what does that say about the place I'm going to graduate from? :( Maybe I'm being pessimistic, but the whole thing seems ridiculous any way I look at it.

I really, really, truly matured over the past summer, and honestly am trying to get my **** together. Right now I'm taking German 2 (I've got a 93 right now) Agricultural Education (98), APUSH (97 when the 10 points are added), and ACP chemistry (69 because I'm missing 3 tests, but I'm making them all up next week!!). I'm making up core classes that I should have taken already but haven't in 0 and 5th blocks (don't ask how it's possible that I never took them, the explanation is too stupid), before and after school. I'm really trying!!!

...Students aren't supposed to take a 0 or 5th block class if they haven't already failed the class at least once, but none of the teachers here give a ****, and no one checks to see if I have or makes an effort to enforce the rule. I just finished Lit 9 in zero period so far this term (taken on computer), and am currently taking Alg IB in 5th. Next semester I'm going to see if I can enroll in Geometry during 5th without them noticing I've never taken it, as well as Physical Science during 0 block (which I failed once, so I know they'll let me take it). The same stupid rule applies to summer school, but I'm still going to try to take Alg II, and just hope they don't check. It's really a totally pointless rule... but I'm used to those by now, after going to this school two and a half years. I've worked out 4 possible schedules for the rest of my highschool career, depending on if they let me do 5th period Geometry and Algebra II in summer school or not. The only problem with them is that my school's website (http://www.clarke.k12.ga.us/do/schoolNavView?id=2951) says AP Lit 12 is a "Two one-unit senior level course". I can't figure out if they wrote 'two' in front of one-unit on accident. Can someone tell me if it's a 2 semester class or not? Anyway, this is what I've come up with:

Option 1 (If everything goes perfectly):

Next term -
0. Physical Science
1. APUSH 2nd half
2. APUS Gvt
3. ACP Lit 11
4. Spanish 1
5. Geometry

Summer School - Algebra II

Next (Senior) year, first term -
1. ACP Algebra III and trig
2. AP Lit 12
3. AP Macroeconomics
4. Spanish II

Next year, second term -
1. AP Chemistry
2. AP Statistics
3. AP Lit 12 2nd half (?)
4. Spanish III

Option 2 (If they won't let me take Geometry as a 5th, I'll only get up to Spanish II):

Next term -
0. Physical Science
1. APUSH 2nd half
2. APUS Gvt
3. ACP Lit 11
4. Geometry

Summer School - Algebra II

Next year, first term -
1. ACP Algebra III and trig
2. AP Lit 12
3. AP Macroeconomics
4. Spanish I

Next year, second term -
1. AP Chemistry
2. AP Statistics
3. AP Lit 12 2nd half (?)
4. Spanish II

Option 3 (If they let me take Geometry 5th, but don't let me do AlgII in summer school, I'll be able to take Spanish III, but I won't get to take Statistics):

Next term -
0. Physical Science
1. APUSH 2nd half
2. APUS Gvt
3. ACP Lit 11
4. Spanish I
5. Geometry

Next year, first term -
1. Algebra II
2. AP Lit 12
3. AP Macroeconomics
4. Spanish II

Next year, second term -
1. AP Chemistry
2. ACP Algebra III and Trig
3. AP Lit 12 2nd half (?)
4. Spanish III

Option 4 (If they won't let me do Geometry in 5th or AlgII in summer school, I'll forfeit Spanish III and Statistics my last term):

Next term -
0. Physical Science
1. APUSH 2nd half
2. APUS Gvt
3. ACP Lit 11
4. Geometry

Next year, first term -
1. Algebra II
2. AP Lit 12
3. AP Macroeconomics
4. Spanish I

Next year, second term -
1. AP Chemistry
2. ACP Algebra III and Trig
3. AP Lit 12 2nd half (?)
4. Spanish II

...Breathes. So, my main question is this: Are colleges going to reject me for having terrible grades in 9th and 10th grades? What about for coming from Central? And my other question is about AP Lit 12 being a 2 unit course or not, because I could use the extra space on my schedule. I know if this works out I'll be working my ass off... but it's worth it if it will get me into a good college.

To anyone who replies: THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!! Honestly I'm not able to express how thankful I'll be for any information that you throw my way.
