So after taking it twice my superscore is as follows:

M: 670
CR: 700
W: 780

The bulk of the colleges I am interested in have a range of about 670-730 for all three subjects. Is retaking the SAT worth the hassle, or should I just go with the scores I have, which are perhaps a little below where I would ideally want them?

What colleges look at super scores? Post your normal scores and we can see if you need to re-take it again.
However, if you think your SUPER SCORE AND normal score are good enough, don’t take it… it’s not worth the hassle.
The first time I took my SAT, I got a 1890, (540CR 730 MATH 620 WRITING)
but the 2nd time I took my SAT, I got a 2160 (730, 770, 660) and I’m not going to retake it because mainly the MATH section of the SAT is not like any other math, you need to constantly be practicing to maintain a good math score.

So I’d worry about other tests, your superscore is a 2150 and that’s a pretty good score IMO depending on what colleges u want to go to

December scores:
M- 580
CR- 700
W- 650

March:
M-660
CR- 620 (don’t know that happened there)
W-800

It would be nice to take it again and beat all my previous scores but my perfect in writing will definitely complicate that. And supposedly colleges only weigh you by your superscore , even if they see the others- this I only half believe.

Sorry W in march is 780, not 800 and M is 670, got mixed up w/ my friend
