I am scared...

This is what I think my 2nd semester grades will look like:

AP Economics- C
AP Physics- B
AP AB Calculus- C
AP Psychology- C
AP Statistics- D
Spanish 4- B
English 4- A

The gpa that I got in with was 3.8 weighted and my SAT is 1340.

1st semester I had A's and B's. Can someone tell me if this is bad enough to get revoked?

Also, 3rd quarter i had a loss in my family and I missed 2 weeks of school, 1 week I had the Flu, and the other week I had a Sinus infection. It took me months to catch up in my classes, and my grades suffered. Should I send them a letter or email explaining this? Thank you.

You're taking FIVE AP courses all at once as a high school senior. Admirable, if risky.

I think you'll be fine...but try and get the best scores you can.

Yeah I am stupid for taking so many this year lol.

Thanks for the feedback.

Not stupid - obviously, you're bright and like challenges. This is noteworthy. As an FSU alumnus I'm glad you selected my alma mater.

There are limits to such things, however.

At FSU you will find your limits, just try and plan to survive the academic work through proper preparation. This means conserving your strength and excelling through planning and preparation. Being smart will no longer be enough - soon you'll need to do the work to master the material, as opposed to simply being intelligent and cruising through without effort.

At the university you'll find that almost everyone will be like you...it's not like high school at all.

I suspect you will be fine based on the strength of your schedule. But given the email that went out about changes this year, and that a D or F could cause your admission to be rescinded, if you get a D on the final report card call them and discuss/explain your circumstances. If only your final grades are posted, and there is no D, don't even worry. If your school posts semester grades separately, and there is a D, call. The C's are OK as a senior. Better to be proactive. But based on that strength of schedule, and your circumstances, I think you will be fine.
