I am so bored at college

<p>I have been here for about 5 days and I'm so bored already. I've gone out several times with my roommate but we can't get into any parties because they're all older people and there are ratios with guys to girls. I literally walk around for hours at night only to go back to my dorm room feeling degraded and bored. </p>

<p>My dorm building is very anti-social as well. The people who are social are people that I can easily say I don't want to be friends with. I guess i'm also very judgemental with who I want to be friends with. I came from a high school where I loved everyone and they were all so cool, but a lot of the people i've encountered so far at my college don't seem to click really well with me. </p>

<p>How do I meet more people? It seems like a lot of people already have friends here. While i'm not completely friendless or anything, i'd just like to figure out the best way to meet more people. ayudame por favor aidez-moi sil-vous-plait</p>

<p>Go to clubs. Make chit-chat in class or standing outside of class waiting for it to start. You never know who you’re going to meet.</p>

<p>It might not be that they’re “anti-social”, they might just be a bit on the shy side and not able to put themselves out there to make friends. Introduce yourself to people around your dorm. If there’s an on campus event like a movie or a show or something… ask if they want to go with you. Ask if they want to join you for dinner.</p>
