I am SO ****ING EXCITED to come to Berkeley!!!!!

I'm so excited!! I'm so excited!! I can't take it!

I have a fantasy that it's going to be somewhat like Hogwarts (living in the residential halls and stuff at least). When I saw the campus during CalSO I was in awe...

Thank God there are only three weeks left!!!!

:D

Are u living at Bowles?

i am in all ways just f-u-c-king excited to attend cal too!

Add me to the list! Although, I am having second thoughts about living on campus - $1400/month for a double! That’s ridiculous.

it’s like hogwarts alright…
like in book 7 :D

naw, you’ll have a good time

the excitement dies down 3 weeks later after you realize how *****ing it is to walk around.

I’m looking forward to leaving my car at home. Gas money is gonna go to beer money. Walking around has its advantages.

lol so true batman… and when you get shouted at by that hobo on telegraph

^lol

Yeah I’m pretty stoked too. Finally get to leave this perfect-world (aka hell hole since perfection is BORING) of Boise, ID and actually go to a place where you can see hobos and I bet cool yet dangerous acts of crime and perhaps even have the possibility of being mugged (I’m so bringing my camera).

PS: I’m not being sarcastic. I’m dead serious. I always thought I wanted world peace and a perfect world with no strife what-so-ever but I’m second-thinking that after growing up here in Idaho. Boredom can be a hell all its own.

PPS: On a third thought (since second was taken by my PS), I’d still like world peace.

no one gives a ****

i wonder if anonymoususername felt the same way before (whatever happened) happened

The excitement usually lasts for only the first month or so haha.

Good times, good times.

I’ve had two friends mugged and I’m fairly sure they didn’t even think of using the word cool to describe the situation.

^wait for real? Oh my god that’s horrible. I assuemd all the thigns I saw on TV were an exaggeration. Is Berkeley that dangerous? I thoguht nearby oakland was the only dangerous place?

did u stop them, batman?

Diivio,

I’m excited my daughter is getting away from the Berkeley area and is moving to Idaho for college! I’m hoping for that perfection, happy to be away from conflict. Hope we all find what we are looking for.

i’m stokkked you guys!!! c/o12!!! yeahhh!!

Sigh yeah the safety here is nice but really the only reason I’d come back here to Idaho is if I was raising a family since the this is probably the safest community I’ve grown up in (As a kid I grew up in downtown East Lansing and Detroit, those were not fun times…), but the universities here aren’t as reputable as Berkeley…So I guess what comes with dangerous highly urbanized areas are also lots of opportunities in all aspects.

@Why me: were you being sarcastic or is she seriously coming to Idaho? Which university? BSU and U of I are the good ones, at least in the opinions of those here in Boise.

^btw I was being somewhat sarcastic in all my responses. Being mugged sucked since that happened to my mom and I in Detroit when I was a kid, and she got badly hurt…but boredom is pretty bad too…sigh why can’t there be a state with Idaho’s safeness and California’s high tech opportunities and reputable engineering colleges.

At least BSU has one of the best football teams in the nation going 14-0 last year. I would be proud of that if I were an Idaho resident.
