Since University of Michigan's decisions come out in waves, generally according to the order we've submitted our applications, perhaps finding out earliest RD applicants to have applied may show us how far the admission officers are. I applied on January 1st to LSA and the Pre-admit program for Ross but still didn't get any responses. Post here if you applied on a similar date or earlier.

Well you just lost your bet, since Michigan doesn’t have RD. Moreover, applying to UMich in January is not early at all. (Assuming it’s Jan 2010)

Last year, I applied to Mich in December, all materials received end of january, and had an acceptance in hand within two weeks.

Its really random, I applied 25th december and got Ross and LSA decision already (by 26th feb for ross and 6th jan for LSA). My friend, who applied about 2 days after me, still hasn’t even gotten LSA decision yet

I also applied on 1/1 and havent gotten anything…

You’re definitely not one of the earliest RD applicants. You’re not even an early RD applicant. You applied 2 months into the RD decision time.

I applied 12/08/09. A month after the early rolling date of 11/01/09. I got my decision like 2 months ago? Definitely sometime in early February. They’ve been sending me junk since.

I think i lose. They recieved my materials 12/03. I haven’t heard back at all.

well… I applied in Sep.25th. Got the decision around Nov.1st

I applied the very day of the deadline- 2/1… and got a decision today

Is there anyway to check your status online? I don’t remember when I turned in everything but it was around January. Now when I click on the status check on my Wolverine Access page it only says the term I applied and two links for “View Application Data” and “View Credentials”. Neither of which gives me any information. Is this normal?

Thanks!

The earliest RD would have been the 1st week of Nov.

undecided56… if a decision is made, you can see “view decision” beside the “view credentials” link
