Only 300 of the 1000 valedictorians that applied were rejected. I was one who was waitlisted. Ahh, the feeling is horrible. I mean, I had everything, good recs, etc, it just suchs so bad because I really wanted to go. Just wanted to get my emotions out , so here goes: , , ahhhh, bull**

I know two more valedictorians that were waitlisted, if it's any consolation.

"Only 300 of the 1000 valedictorians that applied were rejected."

Where do you get that from? Last year Penn rejected 54% of vals, and considering that admissions was much more selective this year, I don't that number went DOWN to 30%. Penn probably rejected close to 60% of valedictorians this year.

It was posted somewhere in a statement by Stetson, but I can't remember

The bottom of the article states that it reversed the original numbers.

Oh oops, it wasn't been corrected back in the day when I read it.
