I cannot believe this... literally I can't. I got 26 about two years ago, and I have improved significantly over the years. I would get about 32 or 33 in my practice tests (including official under timed condition.)

I thought I did really good when I got out of the testing center. English, Math, and Science I thought I would miss about 1-2 except Science about 4 bc of the last passage.

I really cannot believe this... I did not even think about taking ACT again this October because I have more things to do...

This is pretty bad score for international applicant for Cornell right??
I mean I have 4.1 GPA and great extracurriculars, but I just cannot believe this score...
UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I cant believe my eyes

If you’re not going for ED, then you’re not a bad path. Study a bit more be relaxed and confident and take it again in october. You’re an international student so you’re lucky since every college likes the fact that they can say they’re “diverse”

No I never tried SAT. I used to study little bit, but I got lazy because of its requirement of vocabs and such… I just have a feeling in my mind that tells me SAT is harder. Do you think I should try it?

Yeah, you should probably try it. At least take a practice test so you get a feel for it.

It’s not that one test is easier than the other. They’re just different. If you work better in short periods of time the SAT would work better. And, there’s no science on that. But just take the free practice test online and see how well you do.

joonghoongkim- dont worry! keep your head up high.
there are SO many other factors that go into college admissions, dont let this get to you!! i wish you the best of luck

My English went from 28 to 33, I studied the Princeton Review English section per recomm. from CC folks, it really helped. You’re still not too late to take the Oct. test.

like sms, i studied from princeton review and went from a 26 english (february test) to a 33 english on the september one. i went from a 27 to a 31 composite from last test to this one. keep your head high.

Lol, I posted. And then I realized I meant to post that in the other thread. xD So I edited it. I didn’t actually take any practice tests or read ACT tips so I can’t really help on which ones are more helpful.
