I did my life mistake

Hello guys

I had a physics midterm and I did well on it , however I got the score and it was 20% !!! I found out that there is a mistake, I spelled the test ID on the scantron wrong, like there was two test ID I did the first one right and the second one wrong so my test has been corrected as the different version of the test , I had version B but because of the mistake my test has been corrected as version A !!! Idk what to do I’m really upset, do you think if I talked with the professor will correct it right? I’m afraid that she will say I meant to or something

Worth a shot. Go ask, very very politely.

I already emailed her but did anyone experience something like that

You won’t know the result until she emails back, but if I had to guess it has probably happened before. Depending on the type of student you are, she may regrade your test (like if you generally score well and do well in class, i mean).

Would consider going to see her in person rather than email. Make the extra effort

Go talk in person and have them run it with the correct version.

I would email the prof. now, explain what happened, and say you will come to see him/her ASAP. If you see a match between the prof’s office hours and a free time you have you can specify that you will come to office hours on that day/time, if you are not free during any office hours then ask if you can find a mutually convenient time to meet.
