I only got a 2 on my AP calc ab exam as a junior so I obviously didn't get the college credit, i struggled a lot with the class throughout the year and on my senior schedule I put down AP calc bc, would this be a good idea or should I go straight to AP statistics?

Hmmmm. It depends on what you want to study in college. If you did reasonably well in the AB class (I don’t know your definition of “struggled”) I would continue with BC. If you score well on the BC exam, you would still get credit for AB.

However, if you got less than a B- in the AB class, I would suggest switching gears.

Continue with BC if you really want/need Calculus for whatever you want to study in college. The BC test has an AB subscore as you might know so if you sharpen you AB skils a d learn the new things that BC has then you could pass BC and AB on the next AP test. I also just took AB junior year and now BC senior year and the BC teacher says that if you are comfortable with AB, BC is just a bunch of little “tweaks” in addition to doing parametric calc.
