I figured that studying for the IB exams would prepare me for the Math II subject test but I just opened my barrons book and took the diagnostic and did HORRIBLE. Like I got about 4 right??? What the heck, I have no idea what to do or why I did so bad. Anyone else out there?
@India1234 4 out of 50? If so, that is quite poor – randomly guessing gives you around 10 correct answers (in expectation).
You should really assess where you went wrong. Do you not really understand the topics covered in Math II? Did you take too long early on? Did you not understand what the questions were asking?
If you can’t answer those, or if you still don’t score well after a good amount of additional preparation, you should take a different subject test.
