This really doesn't make sense

Okay, so MathII is notoriously one of the easiest subject tests - many of my friends who have taken it say its easier than the Math Section on the actual SAT. I, on the other hand, seem to struggle with it.

It should be noted that I am far from dumb when it comes to math (I've always been in the highest math at my school, got a 740M on the SAT, and a 36 on the ACT math [twice]). I've taken Advanced Algebra, Advanced Geo, Pre-Cal, and I'm in BC Calc right now, but I swear the practice tests I've been taking have honestly killed me. I fear I won't even break a 700. Does anyone have any general tips?

It would be really annoying to do badly on one of the easiest subject tests when I know I am competent in the subject.

Same for me. I’m top of the math class, but I was really havng trouble with the Math II test. Ended up getting 710, and am pretty satisfied (was afraid i might not get 650 oO). will be taking math I tomorrow.

keep taking the practice tests. just keep practicing. review all the answers that you got wrong and redo those questions again.
which study guide do you have? barron’s is harder than the actual thing. i had barron’s and was like running out of time on the practice tests. made it through the whole test though for the real thing (didn’t answer all of the questions, but at least i was able to read all the questions and decide whether i could answer it or not)

i don’t think at all that it was easier than the math section on the reasoning test. i didn’t need to study at all for that, and got 780 (just 1 wrong question -.-)
