For the UC's, I'm really freaking out over their 3.0 GPA minimum policy garbage.

Senior Year First Semester:

AP Biology -C
AP French - B
AP English Literature - A-
AP Government - B+
AP Calculus - C+

= 2.8 unweighted, 3.8 weighted

....WHY???? I don't wanna go through all this stress. I haven't gotten an F this semester or anything, just two C's. It's a freakin 3.8! It's not atrocious or anything, but if you consider it unweighted, it's a 2.8. Is this 3.0 crap really unweighted? UGHHH!!!!!

I believe it's unweighted, and most people I know don't really have a problem with it. Generally students don't drop from 3.5-4.0 to 2.5 or something like that in one semester. Haha, sorry not trying to make you guys feel bad or anything. Anyway, what I've seen happen in many cases is that they either don't revoke it (I think it says under 3.0 = possible revoke is that right?) or for failing grades they ask you to retake those classes at a CC over the summer. Just pull your overall senior grades above a 3.0 for now and hope for the best.

and by the looks of your grades you shouldn't be taking those classes. you should take AP classes because you enjoy that subject not because you want to impress people. you need to get your priorities straight. and no offense but u kind of put yourself into this stress. if you can even call it stress compared to a lot of things in life.

No you don't have a 3.8 you got a 2.8 colleges don't give a crap about weighted GPA's most schools don't even have weighted GPA's so for you to think that you get some kind of advantage just because you have 2.8 and you think you deserve 3.8 even when people work so hard to get a 3.8 is rediculous. You are acting like a baby. suck it up! you chose the classes you have to deal with your grades. end of story.

I'm not trying to be apathetic or anything, but ... why? If you're stressing out about it this much, why didn't you consider it before? Have you been sincerely trying?
