<p>OK I failed the AWPE (Analytical Writing Placement Exam) and today I just got an email for Davis said that “Based on my AWPE essay…UC Davis Department of Linguistics, it has been determined that I must meet the Entry Level Writing Requirement within six quarters and need to complete LIN 21, LIN 22, and LIN 23 before enrolling in Workload 57… In order to ensure timely completion of the prescribed coursework, you should register for LIN 21 in fall quarter 2012.”</p>
<p>And I believe that I going to be 7 quarters (1 year and 3/4) behind included Workload 57.</p>
<p>My questions are:
Can I take these courses during summer?
So I will reduce to a 4 quarters (1 year) behind if it’s possible…
Or is there a better suggestion/advice out there for me??
I don’t want to be behind that long… Please help!!!</p>
<p>Also, I’m a part of STEP (The Special Transitional Enrichment Program)
Will these make any affection???</p>
