This is my first time on here, and I feel like all my chances of going to a good school have been blown away by all the geniuses running around here, worrying about whether their 33 ACTs will be good enough or if their zillion dedicated extracurrics are up to par.

I live in a tiny town in Wyoming.
I got a 25 on the ACT, but taking it again Oct. 25.
I have had a job at the rec center for 14 months.
I'm only in drama, Key Club, NHS, and Debate.
My only AP class last year was U.S. History. I got a 4.
My GPA is 3.5.

You stand a chance at about 85%-90% of the schools in the United States!

I'd actually increase that number, considering the # of colleges in the U.S. And the tons of foreign ones too...

While I understand your sentiment (I don't feel idiotic on here but somewhat lacking in terms of credentials), it's not a big deal.

Oh and, even this website isn't full of those "crazy" people on here. Just to use myself, I will probably be content at any college I go to, whether it is a community college or whatever. I actually hadn't thought of going to college until stumbling on this website. Eh..

Same as above. I really hadn't put thought into colleges until getting here. And when I first got on, I didn't think I had much going for me application-wise. But the more and more you stay on, the more you see, "Hey, I did some of the same stuff and have the same skills. Only they prepped for their tests and spent time studying. I could be in the same position." And that is what you have to prove.
