Your grades are fine. Stop obsessing and go do something fun.

ugh, i checked powerschool today and it wasn't pretty :(

3.57 is not fine for someone trying to go ivy, BUT what's done is done. so rather than feel sick, you can work to get a 3.85 this semester, and then you'll have a 3.7 for the year, which isn't so shabby

Maybe if you had done a better job this semester, you would have a higher GPA.

I'm content with my GPA, keep your head up, your UW is fine.

better than I can get, stop whining.

If it makes you feel better, that's a 3.68 UW using my school's system which is a fairly common one. Also, what's your grade scale, is it 90 - 100 or 93 - 100.
I'm a soph and got similar grades to you and I'm frusturated
English: A-
H. Alg II: A+
H. Latin III: B+
Theology: A-
AP Euro: B+
AP Art History: B+
H. Chem: A-
3.7 UW, 4.21 W

What grade are you in? If you're a freshman or sophomore, you're fine. There's still plenty of time to get amazing grades. If you're a junior or a senior, you have the rest of the year to pull it up. Either way, it's going to be fine. You won't remember what grades you got in a few years. Try to be Zen.

Let me assure you it's not fine unless you have extraordinary circumstances, but you have to get over it and make it fine.

^Really, that's not his/her cum, it's just one semester. If he/she gets a 4.0 next semester that balances to almost a 3.8 which is definitely fine. Most colleges only look at final grades.

your grades are fine, getting worried over a B-. you do know that colleges dont look at the (-) and as far as your GPA is concerned, it's good for a sophmore. SO, stop stressing because there's nothing to worry about

lol stressing over B's..

A bunch of A's and a couple B's ARE NOT BAD!

Seriously, enjoy life and stop stressing about grades.

lol guys stop saying that a couple of B's are not bad...clearly the OP fails at life...

What I hate about school is that the people there limit how many APs I can take my freshman and sophomore year. Don't worry wilmiester, if you decide to load up on APs your junior year, you're set.

I agree that what's done is done. I know it seems really easy for me to say that, but trust me, we've all been in that position. All you can really do is do better next time. And a healthy mix of B's and A's is a solid GPA.

Your grades are fine. Just try to raise it during the next semesters, and you should be set :). I also agree with jamesford. I read somewhere on here that MIT students generally have a "health mix of As and Bs." I'm a sophomore too, so I can understand...

You think you feel bad. I pulled a 3.0. :(
Then my mom keeps having to talk about my grades and I get ****ed, and she doesn't get it and keeps going and going and going, and then makes some joke how I'm not really an "honors" student.

I got:
Honors US History: B
Honors English: A
Honors Algebra II: C UUUUUUuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhggggg
Honors Bio: B
Latin II: I'm not even kidding, a D (I'm re-doing the class next year. It won't effect my GPA thank God only.)
Band: A
Debate: A

I'm totally devastated with my 3.6UW 4.2W this semester

Dude, those are good grades! I got 1.337 GPA, and although it's epically baller, it's not so much amazing in terms of quantifiable results...
