I’ve worked and studied hard compared to some my classmates who slack off but they recieved passing scores while I didnt pass a single exam. Is it worth requesting a rescore?
Hm. Have your ap scores been much higher in the past? If so, I would consider a rescore. Getting 2s on ALL of them if you did well in the class seems a little fishy to me. The college board makes mistakes, if you can spare the cash for a rescore I’d go for it
If you DO want a rescore, note that:
- It costs $30 per exam
- Only the MC is rescored
- If there is a difference between the original score and the rescored score, the rescored score will prevail. It IS possible, then, for your rescored score to be LOWER.
If you still want to take a chance for piece of mind, then go ahead and send the rescore requests. Good luck.
This happened to me also. Five exams taken, three of which I felt super confident on and I got 2’s on all of them. Did well in classes all year and received high scores on the practice tests so I’m shocked to say the least. Like you, I’m in denial and debating on whether I should send in a rescore. Good luck to you OP.
If you got 2s, and if you can spend the money, I do not see a reason of not checking
This is a coincidence because I am in the same situation, I took APUSH and AP Psych this school year. I got A’s throughout the year in both classes. I was shocked to see that my scores were both 2’s for each exam. I am considering to send a rescore request for both exams too. Any advice?
