I got 750 in Math IIC. Should I retake this year?

Hi, I got 750 in SAT Math IIC last year, and I'm becoming a junior. I'm interested in Ivy league schools. Should I be retaking the test this year? Would getting a 800 the second time be a big difference? If it doesn't make much difference, I'd rather focus on other SAT and AP tests that I have to study for this year

Do not retake it, it will be a waste of your time. A 750 is an excellent score, even for Ivy Leagues. Spend more time focusing on the SAT and AP tests like you said.

A 750 is a pretty good score. Anyway, Ivy Leagues don't always just take people with perfect test scores or something. You should probably focus on the SAT and AP tests and some good extracurriculars.

I got 750 first time and retook it and got 800. I say go for it.

Good luck with all your tests!

"I got 750 first time and retook it and got 800. I say go for it".
Why would you put yourself through that?!

To the OP 750 is fine. Focus on your essay, e.c.'s, and grades. And don't give the college board $18 for no reason!

Dude, 750 is a great score.

The first time i took it, it was so hard compared to the practice tests. The 2nd time its the easiest test I ever took. Plus i need all the points I can because UCSD uses a point system.
