Hello everyone-
I really, really want to go to UC Davis to become a large animal vet. I am very good at science and have taken multiple sciences through high school. I going into my senior year and will be taking 3 AP classes and taking 2 AP tests that are apart from my school courses (hard to explain) . Most of them are sciences. Although, I am not very good at history. I got 2 out of 5 on my AP United States History test. I’m devatstated. Will these ruin my chances of Davis admission?

AP scores are not considered in admission decisions. You do not send your AP scores until end of Senior year and only to the school you will be attending. You are fine…
Vet school is a health professions school, meaning that you need to go through college first. For admissions into vet school, they only care about what happens in college and beyond. Nothing from high school and before matters, thus they will never ask you to provide your AP scores.
I highly doubt that a US history course is a prereq for any vet school, so even if the college you end up going to doesn’t award you credit for your AP score, it doesn’t hurt you.
