I want to become a vet. I would love to go to uc davis. I will be going into my senior year and have taken lots of sciences, am going to take more, take other ap classes, pass all my classes. I had an A in apush and I got a 2 out of 5 on the exam. Will that mess with my chances of davis?
Not at all. AP test scores are barely considered in respect to the rest of your application (that is to say that GPA, SAT scores, and ECs are much more important). Yes, a 2 on the exam and an A in the class will look a little weird, but since you want to become a vet and not a historian, I doubt UC Davis will care about that score.
There are a multitude of factors to consider for admission. Don’t sweat it! Tell uc davis your passion for veterinary medicine and youll be fine.
AP scores are not used in admission decisions for the UC’s. They are only used for college credit. Do not worry. If you have competitive GPA/test scores/EC’s and essays, the AP score will not matter.
