I got accepted to UBuffalo, SUNY geneseo, Binghamton and i can'r make decision HELP!!

Hi, i know people have post this a question like a million time, but i have to ask forn another million and one time, i need help. I am a current student at SUNY Oswego and i am planning on transferring out Oswego, the town is too dull for me and there's not a lot of opportunity at Oswego. The school is a good school is just everything else. i am currently planning on transferring to a more prestigious SUNY's school like; SUNY Geneseo, UBuffalo, Stonybrook, and binghamton. I applied to all and i got accepted to all accept Stonybrook and waiting on Binghamton (they waiting for my midterm grades, which i'm very confident about).I really like Binghamton its really the most prestigious of all the SUNY's, but i hate the town, i past there couple times, i really don't like the town. The pre-med advising it not good, from what i've heard its almost none existing, and the school is not affiliated with a medical school ,nor it is a science school, from what i've heard Stonybrook and UB are the big science school among the SUNY's. I also heard the kids are kind of really arrogant, and are really competitive, from what i heard it like every men from themselves, i'm sort of use to working with a team. I really like binghamton, it is the closes and the warmest among all my choices plus its a really good school. I like Geneseo as well, we all know its a really good SUNY school, one of the most prestigious SUNY, and they have great science programs, and a great pre-med program. I honestly thing its the best choice for me, but i hate the town more than Oswego, its more boring than Oswego, the campus look out-dated, and its really far. i can't imagine myself there after oswego, nope. Also i don't like the lack of diversity in Geneseo, having leaving in a extremely diverse place, i can't imagine myself there and trying to fit in somewhere. My last choice is University at Buffalo, i like everything about that school, it the only one of my choice that has medical school on campus, it also has a great pre-med program, it a great school for the sciences, there is a ton of opportunity, plus the town seem to have some life, i can really imagine myself there. I like everything about the school except the distance, Buffalo is 8-9 hours from where i live, that too far for me, i can't handle that much time seating in a bus. Also the size, this school is to big for me, i'm from a school with a graduating class of 50-60 kids, i don't like the idea of me being just a number. I the advantage of the school population is the diversity and the higher i'll found people like me in their. My chance of fitting somewhere is the highest of all my choices. i need help someone please help me with some advice, cause i don;t know what to do,thank you.

I'm majoring in Biochemistry, and i plan to go to medical school which of those school is the best choice for people who want to pursue a career in the medical fields? Thanks

I'm sorry about any grammar , punctuation and etch. errors. English is my third language,i move here a couple weeks ago. also i did not get in the honor program and my SAT scores is really low i probably won't get the early assurance program at UB. i would take it again as i say language is my third language and i've been in this country for couples years, i will not do that much better than my previous scores.

If you did get rejected from Stony Brook (which is what it sounds like) then I would recommend Buffalo as long as you’ve visited the area/campus and can really see yourself being there for the next few years. Like Stony Brook, although a bit less so, it is highly regarded as a top public research institution and has lots of opportunity to engage in research, volunteer hours, shadowing, etc.

Binghamton is also a strong school, and, like you said, is often seen as the “best” overall of the SUNY’s. However, you seem to not really like it and I wouldn’t recommend going to any institution that you can’t see yourself living at for a pretty significant time period.

Binghamton still has the rep from decades ago. It’s no longer the school it was and it is certainly not a better than Albany or StonyB

anyone else

Did you narrow it down?

Hi, where did you end up going I know someone in a similar situation.

I’m in almost the exact same situation as you. Where did you end up choosing to go?
